How to Fix the Print Spooler Issue?

  1. Run the troubleshooting commands.
    • Click on system settings.
    • Scroll down and Click the ‘Troubleshoot’ option.
    • Next, select ‘Other troubleshooting’,
    • Choose the ‘Run’ option beside Printer
    • The system will be scann in the troubleshooting process.
    • Wait for a few minutes, until the system gets scanned, and recommend the fixes.
  2. Restart the print spooler.
    • Search for “Services” by pressing the “Window” key from the keyboard
    • In services select “Print Spooler”.
    • From the mouse, right-click and choose “Restart”.
    • Wait for the service to get restart and complete.
    • Try to print again by giving the “Print” command and check if the error is resolve or not.
  3. Stopping the printer spooler
    • Stop using or shut down the previous applications used to perform the print.
    • On the computer click on “Start”, then “Administrative Tools”.
    • Choose “Services”
    • From the list of options that come, scroll to see the “Print Spooler” option and right-click.
    • Choose “Stop” from the options.
    • In “My Computer”, choose “Local Disk C”.
    •  Select the “Windows” folder and follow the path, ‘System32’ folder> ‘spool’>’ Printers’
    • Delete “print jobs” 
    • Now head back to Services and select “Start” to check the print.
